Zack Elias is co-founder and COO of Reactiv, the mobile commerce platform built for Shopify brands. He's spent his whole career in the Shopify ecosystem: four years at Shopify itself, across merchant support, app review, and App Store operations before moving into payments partnerships. He then became the first North American hire at Plobal Apps, a Shopify mobile app builder, where he built the partnerships program from scratch, grew it to more than 30% of ARR, and helped the company raise $14M led by Bessemer Venture Partners. He writes about the Shopify ecosystem the way someone who's seen it from every side does — the agencies, ISVs, and operators doing work worth paying attention to. He's based in Canada.
