Ross Correia is co-founder and CEO of Reactiv, the mobile commerce platform built for Shopify brands. He spent three years at Shopify — customer support, retail POS, then enterprise sales — learning what merchants actually need before selling them anything. From there he ran go-to-market at Splitit and then Plobal Apps, where as VP of Sales he helped scale a Shopify mobile app builder. He's also been on the other side of the counter, having co-founded his own DTC brand, Carne Boys Jerky. He started Reactiv to build the mobile experience he kept wishing existed for the brands he sold to. He writes about where mobile commerce is going and why an app should be a growth channel, not a loyalty afterthought. He's based in Toronto.
